Based on latest statistics, the number of individuals reaching 100 in the UK has doubled from 8,300 in 2004 to 16,600 in 2024.
From 2004 and 2024, the total of male individuals reaching 100 has tripled from 910 to 3,100. During the identical timeframe, the amount of women aged 100 or over increased by nearly 100% from 7,400 to 13,600.
